I clicked yes to make Windows IE my default browser and as soon as I did
that I haven't been
able to get it to work since. Is there some virus or Trojan going around?
Along with that I recently
re moved then re installed Windows XP pro, but the Service Pack II did not
successfully download
and install.

I do have McAfee Security Center, that did not help. Could someone please
advise.

Thanks in advance!

It will open as many as 16 IE windows in a couple of minutes, and all of
them freeze up.

Thanks!

I solved at least part of my problem. By uninstalling Service Pack II that
I recently
installed after re-installing windows XP Pro. I'll probably have to
completely
format the C:\ drive and re-install from scratch to fix all my problems with
windows
XP. I'll save that project for later.

Thanks anyway!
