My desktop is all white except for my icons. I have tried changing the color
but it stays white. when i go to the wallpaper options, I can see the
pictures that used to be able to oick for my desktop but i cannot click on
them. I cannot click on the browse button either. No matter what solid
color I pick for the desktop it still remains white. This is only a problem
on the one of the user account. The others I have on my windows xp work fine
with the desktop. Hope somepne can help, thanks.

Open Display Properties, Desktop, Customize Desktop, Web tab,
and uncheck "Lock Desktop Items", click OK a couple of times.
