I have windows 8 and I use the task scheduler a lot to start programs for me, but now when I try to schedule a task a prompt comes up and ask me what app do I want to use to execute the task. I'm wondering why did Windows change the windows task scheduler?
Is there a way to have it like the way it was in Windows Vista? Just want to know if the task scheduler in windows 8 only works with apps?
