I have an Error In my CD/DVD Driver HELP!

The its says this under its properties ; Windows cannot load the device
driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

Because of this program not working i can't play PC games! please help

I had a problem very similar to this a couple of weeks ago. Very
frustrating! Have you recently deleted any programs such as Nero or Roxio or
any virtual drives as this may cause your problem.

Go to http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/314060 and have a read
through. This is what I did to my pc and so far (touch wood! ) it's worked.
