Control Panel -> Network Connections I cannot display status of the LAN
network connection. Right clicking on Status does not display status window
(and it used to). What could cause this?

If you run intel LAN hardware, download the software for it,in internet
connections, properties, click on configure,a dozen or so tests are
available...

In my laptop i have National Semiconductor DP83815/816 10/100 MacPhyter PCI
Adapter. Strangely enough I think I was able to see status before (not 100%
sure since I work with number of PCs with XP). Are you saying that if I
update the driver (my is dated 2/13/2003) I will be able to see status?
