I am trying to upgrade to Windows 8.1 but it says I need administrator rights.

I am trying to upgrade to Windows 8.1 from 8. When I click on the app it says I need administrator rights to upgrade. I am the only one who uses the computer, and when I go into settings it shows that I have administrator rights. Does anyone have any suggestions?
