NOTE
This is the better half's computer and it is -it would appear to be running -still win xp . i guess i am repeating myself but when i goto updates why
does it not tell me if and what i need to update to ? i guess that is part of my main que and how ie 8 connects to the whole situation- i know ie 8 is not the OS - it is exactly what its title suggests-an I E - iguess i am just looking for some direction from you - you all have been so helpfull in the past .
