HP S5000 slimline does not power up to desktop?

When I press the power button I the processor and exhaust fans run for a second, the PSU fan runs for a split second then nothing? I reseated the 2 ram sticks, same deal, help?

I am suspecting the PSU is bad and will test tomorrow with a spare good one, meantime, there quite a few roaches in this unit, with the unit powered off, can I use spray like Clorox cleaner wherever I see them on the mobo?

It sounds as if you have a bad PSU, Mike. I wouldn't use anything liquid to spray anywhere near the mobo.
