Yahoo starts automatically when I boot up. The Autoexec.bat file is empty.
How do I switch off this preogram?

Thanks

Windows 2000 doesn't use Autoexec.bat. Try r-clicking on the Yahoo icon
in the Notification area and pick options or disable or settings for the
program.

You will have to login to the Yahoo Messenger to have access to all of the
options. But once there under the general tab you can tell it not to start
with Windows.

Why not use msconfig and unselect messenger from starting at load up.
you can find msconfig on the net, you can even use msconfig from xp and
copy/paste it into system 32 and it will work just fine.
