how to remove the manage item from my computer's context menu?

Generally this mmc applet is needed only by administrators and not by some curiouse users. Some programs that we run require high level previleges. so in order to protect such setups it would be perfect if we could just hide or in any way block user access to that.

Not sure if this is what you mean, but in XP Pro:

gpedit.msc
user configuration\administrative templates\windows components\windows
explorer
"hides the manager item . . . . . . . "
