How to remove folder encryption?

Does anybody knows solution to my problem?I had an encrypted files on my windows xp,but my sistem crushed down,and now I have those files on my comp,after reinstaltion,but I am unable to open them.Files were encrypted with,right click on folder,properties,advanced,Encrypt contents to secure data. After this action file turns to green.Any suggestion is more than welcome.Important notice,windows xp does not give any encryption key or folder key for encryption removing.
