Media players file name is wmplayer.exe
Click the start button and then click All Programs. Look down the list of
all programs and just beneath Windows Media Center you should see the
Windows Media Player link.
Alternatively, if you don't see the Windows Media player link, type
wmplayer.exe into the search box at the bottom of the start menu.
wmplayer.exe should then appear at the top of the 'search' list on the menu.
Right click wmplayer.exe and, from the drop down menu, click on either 'pin
to start menu' or if you use the quick launch toolbar, click on the 'pin to
quick launch' option.
