Uhhh, boot order should be CD, THEN hard drive. So you
can boot from the XP CD or any bootable CD if you need
to. It'll just quickly bypass the CD if there is
nothing bootable there.
That recommendation can screw things up for a LOT of
newbies and has nothing to do with the problem at hand!
