How to have folder size showing next to folder name?

Anyone know how to have a folder's size displayed next to the folder's name in explorer please?

Good question. I know drives show size so there should be a way to shw the size of folders without having to right click and select properties to see the size.

Off to do some research.

As far as I can tell the only way to do this with software. Microsoft removed the ability to show folder size after Windows XP. Every place I checked had a link to the same software. Try this and see if it does what you want.

Thanks but If I have to use a 3rd party software then I am thinking might just be easier to use the folder properties.

When you hover over a folder it will give you the size I think. If not properties is the way to go.

Windows 7 does that natively, whenever I hover over any folder I see the size, this works only when it's a smaller size.

The guy was using XP
