I'm getting ready to do a repair/install of Windows 2000 Pro. I've done
this many times with XP, but this is the first time with Win2000 and I
wonder if there are any unique issues I should be aware of? Assuming the
process doesn't crash can I trust that installed applications and data will
be unaffected? Any advice appreciated.

These may help.
