How to disable windows media player

Hi ,

I want to disabled or remove windows media player on some computer on my
network, is there a way to do that via gpo or other.

Try "Set Program Access and Defaults" , Custom, down arrows.

Let me know if that works

To remove:
Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Add/Remove Windows Components (left
Pane > Uncheck Windows Media Player on the list > Click Next > Follow Prompts

thanks but unfortunaly it's not working even if I uncheck wmp when I double
click on video it lauche wmp....

my dc is windows 2000...too bad for me...

directory
