It's been my experience that Microsoft encounters a whole lot of
problems that it can't fix and then shuts down the offending program. It
seems to be doing this to Firefox a whole lot lately. I dismiss the
message and restart Firefox, restoring the session, and proceed without
further difficulties. Still, I consider the shutdown a big improvement
over a program hangup.
And, of course, Microsoft seldom gives you a clue as to what the problem
was. I think once when I reported the problem(not the Firefox shutdown),
MS offered a fix.
