How can I control the mouse pointer speed on the login screen?I set the pointer speed to a certain way for both of the two user accounts.I believe that when I go to the login screen using Switch User, the mouse pointer speed is the same as the users' configured pointer speed. (I suspect it is the pointer speed of the user account I am switching
from. TBD. But it does not matter, since they are the same.)However, when I go to the login screen by using Log Off, the mouse cursor whips around at a very fast speed -- much faster than users' configured pointer speed.[EDIT] That is also the mouse speed when we go to the login screen after starting the computer. This is disconcerting for the 87-year-old who uses the computer. (Read: barely computer literate.)FYI, I did not notice this until I switched from a wired Dell mouse to a wireless Logitech mouse. (I power-cycled the computer.)Also, the users' configured users' pointer speed is the 2nd from the left, with Enhanced Pointer Precision set.
