Hi. I have a Gateway PC with Windows Vista Home Premium (incluiding Windows
Media Center) and a Xbox 360 together. My problem is when I press the Windows
Media Center button or On/Off button on remote control both, PC and Xbox,
reponse. This is very annoying. Can I change frecuency (or codes) on IR
remote control and reciever to avoid Xbox to turn on?.

Please help!... this is one of that kind of tiny details that can not leave
sleep quietly.

Thanx a lot!

P.D. I've read Xbox 360 Universal Media Control is useful to PC too... does
this control have the problem that I've described above?

There is a setting in the configuration of the XBox360 that you can
change that will stop it responding to the PC remote. I had the same
problem as you until I found the option :)
