Right click on the Desktop and select Properties. Click the Screen Saver
tab and then click the Power button. Click the Hibernate tab and uncheck
"Enable Hibernation". Click the Advanced tab and change "When I press
the power button on my computer" to Do nothing. Change "When I press the
sleep button on my computer" to Do nothing. Click the OK button.

Report back if it doesn't help.
