How do you disable and grey out Proxy Settings in Windows Mobile 6.5?

We use Windows Mobile 6.5 at work for our RFID scan guns. The guns keep picking up the proxy server address automatically. Is there anyway to disable the Proxy Settings permanently? Thank you.
