How can I uninstall Microsoft Works Suite 99 without a disk?

First off I must say that I bought this computer from someone else and it DID NOT come with any discs. My other computer at the time stopped working and this one was convenient to get, so I bought it haven't had any complaints because of HP support.

I am using Windows XP on an HP Pavilion 563w.

This computer came to me with a number of programs installed on it and up til now, I haven't had any trouble uninstalling any of the programs. Then I came to the Microsoft Works programs. There were two separate uninstall entries listed in the Add / Remove Programs list. The first was Microsoft Works 4.5 and the second was Microsoft Works Setup Launcher, which had to do with the Microsoft Works Suite 99.

I have to wonder now if I uninstalled them in the wrong order or not. I had trouble trying to uninstall Microsoft Works 4.5, which refused to just uninstall. However, I finally succeeded by removing all the components in the checklist, and the rest of the program uninstalled with it.

However, when I tried to uninstall using the Microsoft Works Setup Launcher, it asks me to insert Disk 1. I do not have any of the disks, so I can't do anything. I am guessing now that the Setup Launcher was supposed to be used to remove Microsoft Works 4.5 and the Suite together, or am I wrong about that?

I tried using some Windows program that is supposed to fix installers and uninstallers in some way, but that didn't help either. It asked for a Product Code, and I have no idea what it would be. I am guessing that it can be found somewhere in the Registry, but I am not tech savvy enough to find it.

I also noticed an article online that talked about renaming some file and telling the uninstaller to use it instead of the disk, but that was for Microsoft Works 8.

Can anyone help me with this?
