RE: IE Version

How can I tell what version of Internet Explorer I have?

All other programs allow me to determine the version:

1. Help; and

2. About (the application).

But it appears there are no such items in Internet Explorer.

Thank you,

Barry Karas

P.S. I use Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.0.11 as my browser.

Then you probably have IE7. Press the Alt key and the File etc menu will
come up with the Help option....

For IE7, there is a "question mark" (which represents help) on the command bar.
Click that and the dropdown provides that and other beneficial topics.

Didn't you ask this question a week or two ago? I, and others,
answered you then. Use Help | About, just as in other applications.

If you don't see a menu bar, you may be running IE7, where I think the
menu bar isn't enabled by default. Right-click on the toolbar at the
top and check "Menu bar."

On second thought, maybe this file to make the menu bar on top has
something to do with it...

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Toolbar\WebBrowser]
"ITBar7Position"=dword:00000001
