Yep me too I even have one with a headband but it is so damn clumsy to aim, easier to put one of these in my teeth (for as long as I have them)! I have them in all shapes and sizes but this one could be better with flood or spotlight...drawback is 3 AAA batteries as most have one AA battery!

A former hobby of mine for years was flashlights. (Narrowed it down to 18 that i kept) Unfortunately i had to stop because i invested too much money in them. One of many flashlights i recommend is at the bottom of this reply but not necessarily from that seller. I also recommend "Energizer Ultimate Lithium" batteries. Alkaline batteries though cheaper may leak & ruin the flashlight and/or other devices. I'm also a member of a flashlight forum that goes indepth concerning the variety of flashlights & batteries. The above flashlight i recommend can be held with one's lips, never teeth. Try not to get a black flashlight. Black may "look cool" but a silver, gold, red, green or purple one is easier to locate when placed on a table etc.

My #1 interest in flashlights is for "Emergency Preparedness". We do have power outages in florida as well as potential hurricanes. The majority of my flashlights are purposely low output for less battery consumption. I'm not interested in lighting my neighbors house from my house. I also have flashlights that take different size batteries. Whenever there is a major inclimate weather prediction many people will go to walmart etc. & stock up on batteries. It's a good idea to have flashlights that use batteries that the majority of people 'Do Not' purchase! My #2 interest in flashlights is my bicycle. I have a red flasher in the rear & a white flasher and/or continuous beam in the front. Rich....My main keychain flashlight is the single aaa Streamlight. The little brother to the one you have.

I actually have the one you are describing as well N3. My first acquisitions started when I thought I had lost my main one so I bought 2 more and then found the original. The long pen like one I had took 3 special batteries that were a fortune because they were really small, but they lasted almost a year with constant use whereas these alkaline batteries, and most of them I have take 1 AA battery I get about a month out of. I would have gotten a battery charger and lithium batteries except the AA are so cheap theses days. I think I just bought 48 of them for $14.99, some crazy brand (AC Delco) but they last as long as the Dura Cell batteries do.

I use these cheapie lcd torches all the time.
$1.50 at chinese variety shops here.
They are throw away when flat as the batteries cost more than the torch.
I buy 6 at a time.
Brilliant for working inside Computers.
Great for finding your way in the dark to raid the fridge late at night.
