Quicksilver

ive got a big problem and i dont know how it happened or how to fix it. im
guessing is a virus but ive ran multiple scans and found nothing. i use AVG
anti virus free

i have multiple problems and it all started around the 25th of oct.

my folder views always return to default or what i have them set on when i
change the view or arrange the icons in a certain order it no longer
remembers and resets when i close the folder it gets pretty annoying
especially since i use photoshop allot and have to have my pictures arranged
to get to them easily.

Windows Installer isn't working either. I've tryed to install multiple
programs and they all failed with the same error and if i try to re-install
the installer it gives me the error "Not enough storage is available to
process this command"

Windows media player just wont open at all. and i cant un-install it because
its integrated into vista

i really hope i dont have to re-intall vista.

Use the Windows Installer Cleanup utility to remove corrupt configuration
data:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301

Disable System Restore temporarily, boot into Safe Mode then run a system
scan again with your Antivirus.

Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories and right-click
on the Command Prompt and choose "Run as administrator".
Type in: SFC /SCANNOW and press your Enter key.

If that does not work, try repairing your system. Boot from your Windows
Vista DVD, select the System Repair Option > on the setup screen, select
'Repair Computer > Select your installation of Windows > select Startup
Repair option and follow instructions.
