I have just purchased a Samsung 226BW 22" LCD monitor. It comes with
the utility Natural Color Pro on the installation disc. However, I am
unable to install this software successfully. The OS is Windows XP
Professional SP2. I get the following error message:

Self-Registration Error
The following files did not self-register or unregister
E:\windows\system32\Flash.ocx
Error accessing the OLE registry
To continue, click OK; otherwise, click Cancel

If I click OK, I am informed that the program has installed
successfully. Unfortunately that report is incorrect: the program does
not work.

I have searched for the file Flash.ocx. Its location is

E:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\flash.ocx (version 6.0.79.0)

Will any of the following actions correct the problem? (Of course I
will backup the registry and set a restore point before doing any of the
following.)

1) Installing the software in Safe Mode?

2) Uninstalling Flash.ocx? There is a program named UninstFl.exe in the
same subdirectory.

If not the two preceding actions, what then? Can you suggest another
approach (seriously). (Such suggestions as "Upgrade to Vista", "Get a
Mac", "Buy a different monitor", and the like will not be appreciated.
Thanks.)

You are probably having trouble with registry "Permissions"

Aaron Stebner's directions worked like a charm. I have now been able to
install Natural Color Pro. Many thanks Mark.
