This screenshot shows the location of Windows Media Center on the start
menu:

If you check the properties of the shortcut, it looks like this:

If you still cannot locate the shortcut, then try re-creating it on
your desktop:
- Right-click any empty area of your desktop
- Click New, then selct Shortcut
- Type "%SystemRoot%\ehome\ehshell.exe" (without quotes) and click
Next
- Type "Windows Media Center" for the shortcut name and click FinishPlease report back if this worked for you or not. Thanks.
