Hello, my name is Stan and I am probably a bit older than most of the IT people on the forum. I am the IT Manager for a small city in Washington State and have been involved with computers (and other electronics) most of my life. Some of you may have heard of Univac? That is not to say that I know more than any of you. IT is a constantly evolving field and I am always running to catch up and often find myself a bit behind the curve. I spend a good deal of time studying and experimenting. I am using 2008 Enterprise R2 as my desktop OS just so I can learn it top to bottom. I am running the city's virtual servers on Hyper-V server R2, and stumbling my way through the infancy of Microsoft's new offerings. I am always willing to share my knowledge and experience when I feel it will be helpful, but I also am always desiring to learn more from all of you.

I am looking forward to spending time on this forum!
