Hello, first time post, thanks in advance for any help.
Not sure if this qualifies as a Software or Hardware issue?
I recently purchased a 1GB Secure Digital Memory Card & a 1GB USB Travel Drive (like a jump drive).
I have tried to copy MP3 music files onto both devices but can only copy 384 MB worth of files (106 actual files), if I try to copy another MP3 file (file count # 107) I get the message "Cannot copy (name of file) Directory or File cannot be created". Looking in properties the whole drive space is shown. I have tried formating the Secure Digital card in both FAT and FAT32 formats but no change.
I am using Windows XP Pro on my desktop and Windows XP Home on my laptop. I get the same error on both systems.
I thought it was the card causing the problem but after receiving the 1GB USB Travel Drive I get the same error. I should point out that the 106 music files I copy play just fine in my MP3 player and in both of my systems. Also, I can copy any other type of file just not an MP3 file.
If anyone has an answer to this little problem I would appreciate hearing the solution.
