Hello folks. I've used ubuntu briefly at school and loved it so I wanted to put it on my old laptop. I installed the 14.04 32-bit iso file to a flash drive and booted from there. When I boot, it creates a very funky display error where many versions of the display overlap each other and make it impossible to do anything. I'm guessing this is from a display driver issue but I don't know how to fix it. I am unable to do anything from the live USB because the display is so messed up. Is there a way to put the drivers on the USB and have them work right away from the USB so I can actually install it on my computer? orrr....idk. Is there ANY kind of way I can get this to install properly? I've also run this version of Ubuntu as a virtual machine on my computer and it works just fine using VirtualBox. I'm new to linux so I would really appreciate some assistance.

My video card: NVIDIA GeForce 7000M / nForce 610M
