Have to run network reset after updates

Sorry if this was covered before looked around couldn't find anything.I have a client that every time windows 10 updates he has to run the network reset in settings.
He is connected to his router with Ethernet cable has Verizon Fios.After the network rest is run all is well. He doesn't use a VPN I did read that this could be a problem.
I did a Google search but couldn't find anything but general update problems.

Although this won't be much help, my husband has the same problem with his laptop, which is connected wirelessly.
Every time there is a Windows update, it stops connecting automatically and I have to go in and reset the settings.
I run Windows 10 on a desktop, connected by Ethernet and do not have that problem.

Maybe another one of our tech's knows of a work a round.

No problem thanks for the reply.I was just curious if anyone else had this problem.It is easy to just run the network reset but
I wish I could find out why it happens.Well with Micro$oft it is always a challenge.The thing is it seems like almost everytime
there is a update to windows it happens to him.

What do you mean by
