Does anyone have a recommendation on a program you can use to play swf
files in windows 2000. (Other than using your web browser to view them
in a web page).
Thanks,
JM

Those are all plugins for your browser that allow you to view swf in a
web page. I was talking about a separate application like a movie player
that can play these files.

From that page:

"The update replaces the Debug and Release versions of Flash Player 9
browser plugins, **standalone players**, and Test Movie players."

[My emphasis.]

A standalone player is what you're after. I looked at the system
requirements and they didn't mention neeeding Flash installed that's why I
wrote "one of them might work."
