I'm undertaking a deployment project where I have to ghost a windows xp with software that i don' t have disks for.
My main issue is that the system im making an image of is different than the system i'm installing the ghost on
image system is a dell optiplex 170L running XP pro the CPU is a celeron
the system i'm installing the image to is an HP DC 5700 micro tower with a core 2 duo CPU
the only problem I see myself running into is the HAL as it would be different due to the CPUs
iv used both Norton ghost and clonezilla
it is very important that I make a clone and not set up a whole new system and clone from there because I don't have the software disks for specific programs that are needed for the class that the systems are being deployed in
is there a way around this?
what software would i use?
where would i get it ?
and how do i use it ?
