Hi folks,
Over the last week, games have been crashing constantly seemingly for no reason. I play a lot of Call of Duty which was running nicely, I installed Medal of Honor: Allied Assualt which ran for a short time then crashes every few minutes. Likewise now for COD. I have installed all the latest patches for both games, the latest video card drivers, and am using Direct x 9.0b. I have tried disabling anti-virus progs etc but no joy. It was suggested that I try swapping my two sticks of ram over which I will do this evening. My Cyberlink DVD player now even crashes several times during play. New games I install crash every few minutes. They even crash to a blue screen and start a "memory dump"?
I am trying to put off a format as I know someone who has had this problem even after a full format.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
