Hello:

Here on my laptop used for business purposes, I am running XP Pro with
service pack 2.

At the beginning of everyday and, specifically when I start typing up
e-mails, I get two message windows.

The first is a Virtual PC 2004 x86 Patch message box. The second is a
message box that has to do with the time entry program that I use at my place
of business. Anyway, despite the fact that I have updated my laptop with the
latest patches and updates, that second message pops up with two buttons to
click--"Reboot Now" or "Continue Working".

But, even if I choose "Continue Working", eventually my laptop reboots
without my intervention and my work is lost.

The publishers of that software say that they do not know what to tell me
and that it must be some problem with my operating system.

What would cause XP to bring up these two windows and force a reboot of my
laptop and only do so at the beginning of each day and when I'm typing
e-mails? Again, I have the latest patches and updates.

Thanks!
