Folder and File Names Have Disappeared

Jim

I created a new folder on my desktop and moved some files into the folder.
All went smoothly but now when I access the folder the names under the yellow
folders and under the (for example) MS Word icons have disappeared.

When I change view from "Thumbnails" to "Tiles" the folder names show up,
but I prefer to use the "Thumbnails" view.

This is only happening to one folder. All the other folders on my computer
are fine.

I ran my anti-virus, Spybot S&D, Ad-Aware, CWShredder, Spyware Blaster and
refreshed my Zone Alarm. Everything comes back as clean.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

Jim

Thumbnail View has no text:

Hold down the shift key while selecting thumbnail view to toggle icon
titles.

See if this helps.

Open the problem folder.
Make sure the view is set to Thumbnails.
Change the view to Tiles.
Next, hold down the Shift key and change the view back to
Thumbnails.
You should now see the names of the files and subfolders.

Good luck
