On my newest more powerful laptop, I have a lot of problems with WiFi stability especially using any Buntu 14.04 based distro. It will lose connectivity often every few minutes and sometimes it comes back on it's own quickly and sometimes it doesn't. The WiFi is 100% reliable when using MX-14 (which is based on Debian stable). Here's the hardware specs (from inxi -F while running MX-14):

I suspect it's a driver issue with the Buntu based distros but I wonder if any of y'all have whipped this problem...
