NeoSmart Technologies has created a (free) fix for the infamous bug,
present in all versions of Windows from XP downward, where tooltips
appear below/behind the taskbar making it impossible to read what they
say and requiring you to reboot or log off to reset them to their
default behavior.
ToolTipFixer is a free patch that addresses this issue, ensuring that
tooltips that show up when you hover over an icon in the tray appear
_above_ the taskbar, putting an end to this pesky bug.
ToolTipFixer is 100% free (and no spyware/malware/etc. either).
