File Sharing

I have two computers that has had file sharing enabled for several years,
they are both running XP Pro. Recently one of the PC's we'll call PC#2 lost
a hard drive, and I had an old one that was from PC#2 prior to a hard drive
upgrade. And the old hard drive from PC#2 used to be networked to PC#1 as
well.

Now with the older hard drive back in PC#2 I can't access either PC from the
other. I can see them in my network places, but when I try to open a folder
I get a permissions error "network path not found". I have file sharing
turned on both, it doesn't matter if the Windows firewall is on or off on
either, and if I search for the computer name under "search for computers"
they don't find each other.

They were connected prior to the hard drive upgrade, but now I can't connect
them. They both can find the internet fine and are connected by a Linksys
switch.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Brian
