Favorites Problem

I just did a reinstall of XP Pro after a year. Now when I go to my favorites
I have to refresh the pages to get it to update to the latest view, Is there
a setting I need to fix?
I.E 7.0
1.5 gig ram
2800 athlon XP Barton.
 
You are addressing an old link to the page. Consider adding a link to the
new page in your favs.

Tryed that already and I still have to refresh all forums I belong too.

Tools | Internet Options | Temporary Internet Files | Settings | Set "Check for
new version of stored pages" to "Automatic"
