I'm starting to get a very elaborate pop up window that says it's a Wndows
Security Center.
However, I am very suspicious. There are a number of gramatical errors and
the window tells you that " you need to buy all the software listed below"
In the window it says:
Security Essentials
Security Center helps you manage your Windows security settings. To help
protect your computer make sure the three security essentials are marked ON.
If the settings are not ON, You need to buy all softwre lited below to keep
your computer secure. To return to security center later, open Control
Panel.
Then it lists the three items:
System Error Fixer OFF
System Defender OFF
SysCleaner OFF
All three of these items have poor gramatical descriptions of what they are.
This is not a valid Microsoft product is it?
I have run a Malicious Software removal too from Microsoft. It removed some
files.
I ran Norton anti-virus, it found nothing.
I ran Spysweeper, it found nothing.
How do I get rid of this annoying pop-up????
BTW there are also annoying application fatal errors that I feel are fake
also:
SysFader: IE7EXPLORER.EXE Application fatal error
X The instruction at 0x01cf34739 referenced memory at 0x02df2e50. The
memory could not be read. OK
What do you think?
TIA
Don
