If any recovery/restore disk(s) were provided with the PC, install the Ethernet
Controller drivers from the appropriate disk after carefully reading the
documentation that was provided with the PC on how to restore drivers/software. You
need to be 100% sure that any disk provided will restore only software and/or drivers
and not Reformat the drive to Factory condition.
Go to the PC manufacturers support site and download/install the Ethernet
Controller drivers per their instructions for your specific PC Make/model.
If you do not know which Ethernet Controller you have download/run:
Everest Home Edition: (Last one offered free)

Create a new folder named Everest and extract the contents of the download to
that folder.
Open the folder and double-click everest.exe to run the application.
Click the + next to Computer.
Click Summary.
Scroll to the section for your installed devices chip/adapter.
