Errors on Add Remove Program List

There are 18 items listed with no size. Most are programs that have been
removed, only the name remains. However, there are items that were removed
and reinstalled.

What causes this?

To reply to this, and an earlier question about registry cleaners, this is
another problem that Ace Utilities has fixed for me on a few occasions.

KCav,

Never ever use a registry cleaner

The registry key that holds the display name for the add/remove list is here:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

I might be outvoted, but that doesn't mean I'm wrong.

Look at the last couple presidential elections, for example.

Your opinion, vs those who KNOW. Yes, you're wrong

For what? Expertise in WinXP?

Are you campaigning for Idiot Of The Year here? If so, I think you're
in the "team picture" as they say.

I can't tell you how thrilled I am to get an insulting response from a
professional flamer. I must be one of a very select group.

Woops, a little research shows that I'm not so special after all.
