I haven't seen a report that anything already installed became broken.
It's only a matter of various newly attempted installs claiming they do
not recognize the machine to be Win98SE or a suitable OS. Macromedia's
Fireworks is one, & MS Works v.8 may be another. Here is the .inf on the
Security Update CD that does the nasty deed...!...
