Error message: Stop0x000000EA Thread_Stuck_in_Device_Driver

New 8800GS EVGA card installed 06-03-2008. Driver dated 05-02-2008. Please
help, as I do not wish to RMA, if possible and decreasing hardware acceration
takes the thrill out of a new video card. Happened tonight, after lights went
out during thunderstorm. Will appreciate any assistance.
Gateway 5200S, XP Pro SP3, 4 Gigs 3200 DDR, 3.0 GHz HT Processor, Intel
915GAG MOBO, Viewsonic 22" V2226W Monitor
