Reformatted my Dell Dimension 2350 [XP Home]and all's ok except I have no sound and a yellow ? by multimedia audio controller in device manager.
Also I can't get mp3 files onto my mp3 player via windows media player. Presumably the same issue.
I found the correct driver [supposedly] on the Dell website [there was only one audio driver] and downloaded it [R56339]. However when the install shield comes up it comes up with a message as in the title of the thread. with (0x 10 000). Have tried downloading and installing the driver a few times and always the same result. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
