Hi Forum,
I have a centos 6.5 32 bit VM on vmware workstation. I use it as my master DNS server. Suddenly a few days ago I encountered an error during boot. This is just after the splash screen.
"Error 16 - Inconsistent file system structure"
Press any key to continue...
I have tried getting into single user mode, but it does boot into it, it still gives me the same error.
I then went in rescue mode by entering "linux rescue" on boot prompt. Select Skip option, activated pv,vg and lv, ran
e2fsck /dev/mapper/vg_os-lv_root
Still the error persists.
