Windows NT Error connecting to Tsweb server

The terminal server is behind a pix 501 firewall. The port 80 has been
opened and I've connected to the tsweb website. I type in the IP address of
the terminal server, and it gives me this error:

The client could not connect to the remote computer. Remote connections
might not be enabled or the computer might be too busy to accept new
connections. It is also possible that network problems are preventing your
connection. Please try connecting again later. If the problem continues to
occur, contact your system administrator.

If I connect to my cisco VPN client, the connection works, even when I use
my external, not my internal, IP address to access the ts website.

Is there another port other than the port used for the website that needs to
be opened on the firewall to allow access? What kind of situation would
cause this?

Thanks,
portlandjoe

Terminal uses port 3389, but I'm not exactly sure if this will solve the
problem or not.

That is the way that you should work to access securely your server but if
you want to give access from outside to your server, you can configure it on
Access Rules and Translation Rules on your PIX (if you do that you will open
your server to the world), if you do not have any other authentification and
security on place it is dangerous.

I will suggest you to keep your Cisco VPN client or configure a PPPTP to
access with windows VPN connection in case that you don't want to install
Cisco VPN Client.

I'm not an expert but that is what I know so far and is the way that I have
my network setup with a PIX501

Hope it help you

Good luck
