On which OS? And are you sure you are giving us the right code?
It doesn't seem to be defined on XP. (OTOH I don't have any Office Products installed.)

<cmd_output OS="XPsp2">
E:\>set /a c = 0x92D
2349
E:\>net helpmsg %c%

The system cannot find message text for message number 0x92d in the message file for NETMSG.
</cmd_output>

A web search shows that there are vague references to this code associated
with the product you mention:

(Live Search for
install error 2349 "office 2003" site:microsoft.com
)

I got a numbered error message this time ERROR 2349
</quote>

BTW this really doesn't have much to do with WU. Cross-posting to an Office NG.

I am getting the same error code. I have Windows XP Professional version
2002 service pack 2. Received this error everytime I tried to install Office
2003 service pack 3 (SP3). I am getting error 0x92D (that is zero, lower
case x, 92, and a capital D)

....

I am getting the same error code when installing Office 2003 Service Pack 3
(SP3).

Error Code: 0x92D

I am running Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 2.

When I type net helpmsg 2349 in the cmd window, this is what I get:
"The system cannot find message text for message number 0x92d in the message
file for NETMSG."

You could help by doing some of the diagnosis that I have suggested
to the other posters in this thread... )

Since it has been almost three months since I did the web search for the OP
it turns out that there is now more available that way, including this:

<title>&quotInternal Error 2349: Copy resumed with different info&quot error message when you try to install part of Office
2000</title>
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/329386

(Live Search for
(0x92D OR 2349) site:microsoft.com
)

<quote>
To work around this issue, use a CD-ROM drive to install Office 2000.
</quote>

Presumably the same suggestion would work with your version too?

Good luck
