I am Facing this Error 0x80240031 exact at 50%.. not even before not even after ... I tried almost 50thimes got the same error ..I have a Lenovo Laptop G500s ... I contacted Microsoft for this issue ..from last 15days Microsoft guys tried there level best to solve my problem through remote desktop BUT NO LUCK ... I have a Pre installed win 8 laptop ... Microsoft gave me last option ie to reinstall the whole windows 8.. so I contacted Lenovo for the same ...so they have reinstalled it with a recovery CD .. But the great news is M STILL FACING THE SAME ISSUE ... even after reinstalling the whole OS ... Its a OEM Product so I cant even download a fresh win 8 or 8.1 from the official website ... Can any anybody help me out ... whom should I sue ..Microsoft or Lenovo for not solving the issue ... or do anybody has any solution for this .. ....
